Where do you provide in-home service?

I provide Home Organizing and Moving Management Services to residents and businesses in DC, Maryland and Virginia (within 75 miles of College Park), Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA. I am able to travel outside of these areas upon request (additional fees will apply).

Do you offer organizing services to those who live outside the in-home locations?

Yes! I offer Virtual Organizing Services. These packages are also a great option for people who have busy schedules and still want to get decluttered, organized and feeling good about their home or business again.

What is the payment policy?

Home Organizing and Moving Management services are billed in 15 minute increments. Payment for all services is expected at the end of each session (unless you have pre-paid). Klean the Klutter accepts payment in the form of cash, check, debit or credit card. A 3% processing fee will be added for payments made via debit or credit card.

What are your cancellation policies?

Clients must provide 48 hour notice (by phone or email) when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Cancellations made within 48 hours are subject to a $75 cancellation fee.

How many hours will it take to organize my cluttered space?

There are many variables that go into providing a client an estimated quote, but the free In-Home Consultation will allow me to better assess your spaces and evaluate how long each project will take. I will make every effort to stay within your budget.

What are the benefits of purchasing a Prepaid Package?

10, 15, 20 and 25 Hour Pre-paid Packages are offered at a discounted hourly rate. If you have multiple projects to complete, packages are recommended. You will never lose these hours! Following the completion of services, if any unused hours remain, they may be used towards a future project of your own or gifted to someone else.

Do organizing or moving management projects need to be completed within a certain time period?

Depending on the project and the amount of sorting that will need to take place, it helps to have empty boxes, storage bins, and trash bags. If you prefer that I provide these, there will be an additional fee for supplies purchased (based on your needs). I will bring a bin of all other additional organizing supplies needed.

What should I do before our appointment?

To get a sense of your lifestyle, I am able to best help you when I can assess your spaces in their current state. You do not need to tidy up your space before we start the decluttering and organizing process. To prepare, you are welcome to write down some of your organizing goals, so that I may help you effectively achieve the results you want.

Should I buy anything before you come?

Depending on the project and the amount of sorting that will need to take place, it helps to have empty boxes, storage bins, and trash bags. If you prefer that I provide these, there will be an additional $10-15 fee for supplies purchased (based on your needs). I bring a bin of all other additional organizing supplies needed.

Are you able to help me with purchasing organizing products for my home or business?

Yes. If a project requires the purchase of products or supplies, I am available to complete research and in-store/online shopping for $35/hour. For online research, I will provide you with links to any items I suggest, and you may choose to then place an order yourself. All materials needed to implement particular systems are purchased at the expense of the client with the client’s authorization. Payment and reimbursements will be arranged in advance.
